Jarabacoa has a Tropical rainforest climate. Due to its tropical location and high elevation it has warm days and mild nights during most of the year, and temperate days and cool nights during a few winter months. Because of its mild temperatures, visitors have christened Jarabacoa as “The City of Everlasting Spring.”

Punta Cana, the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, abuts the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a region known for its 32km stretch of beaches and clear waters. The Bávaro area and Punta Cana combine to form what’s known as La Costa del Coco, or the Coconut Coast, an area of lavish, all-inclusive resorts. It’s popular for zip-lining, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing.

the Carnival in the Dominican Republic is celebrated throughout February.[1] The festival usually climaxes around February 27th, which is Dominican Independence Day. In Santo Domingo, this primarily involves a large display of military power (including the Dominican air force, navy, and other armed forces). This carnival is distinguished by its colorful costumes; these costumes symbolize many religious and traditional characters such as Calife, Guloya, or the famous Diablo Cojuelo. It is celebrated in most of the island, each town adding its own twist or creating their own characters and groups.
